K.S. Ramji is a household name in Karnataka among daily serial lovers and a driving force behind some of the most successful fiction shows in the Kannada television industry.
His journey began unexpectedly---as a video editor by accident---but his passion soon led him to evolve into a writer, director, and eventually a producer. After proving his mettle as an episodic director, he took the bold leap of launching his own production house to bring his dream concepts to the screen.
His breakthrough came with the iconic serial Putta Gowri Maduve, aired on Colors Kannada, which went on to become the flagship show for the newly launched regional channel. The serial achieved massive popularity, consistently holding its 7 PM slot until its final telecast, and running for 11 years and over 3000 episodes.
